Formed in Toulouse in 2024, Tornade Spectrale brings together Sam Brault and Claire Lenoël. On the same wavelength, the pair get hands-on with raw sound and break the sound barrier. They cross a song from the Haut-Agenais with a noise brew, and the trance of rāga with an Occitan cover of Massive Attack, not to mention voices drawn from archival field recordings and from the belly of the machines. Following the release of their EP À l’aube tempétueuse, la brume s’illumine in 2026, the duo has been named a Jazz Migration laureate: thunderstruck by Tornade Spectrale!
