MARSAVRIL

Supported by: le Petit faucheux

MARSAVRIL gathers around Pierre, Jasmine, Mathieu, and Benjamin, marveling at the likes of Makaya McCraven, Jakob Bro, and Marc Ribot alike. The compositions emerge from contemporary jazz, borrowing certain modern elements from pop music. An instrumental quartet, captivated by unique, nostalgic melodies, stripped down to their essence. The framework opens up, allowing the musicians' improvisational freedom to take precedence over the written notes. An epic, warm landscape emerges.
