FELSENMEER is a quartet founded in 2024 by clarinetist Joséphine Besançon. Joined by Charles Paillet on electric guitar, Fanny Bouteiller on double bass, and Matheo Ciesla on drums, she composes a new repertoire inspired by her diverse influences and experiences in classical, contemporary, and jazz music. Blending composition with improvisation, the music evokes a variety of spatial impressions, inviting listeners to journey through imagined landscapes.
